Nitin Kumar aka The Royal Bengal is India’s top-ranked darts player. Born in Chennai, Tamil Nadu and brought up in Dubai he began darts at a young age following his parents.

Nitin Kumar love darts, basketball and competition. Works in Retail Marketing to support his second career and wants to push forth the growth of darts in India.

Early journey

Nitin got into the game at 11yrs old. By playing the local Dubai leagues and tournaments he slowly climbed the local rankings until he went to India on a Basketball Scholarship. He then started participating in the Indian tournaments and has so far made a name for himself.

Achievements

A multiple National, State and All India Ranking winner. Nitin has also represented India at the PDC World Cup twice and played in the PDC World Championships four times. He is a PDC Asian Tour winner and a WDF Ranking event winner as well.

International presence

Trying to perform and make a name for himself at the world level with a promising last few years, Nitin Kumar is India’s most well known darts player.

My story

A young kid who got to enter bars, play darts, drink coke, eat fries – which kid wouldn’t want that? My family has always had my back and are the driving force in this journey. A Dubai kid who went to India to pursue Basketball and shifted back to darts and actually started training. This story is still being written – stay tuned…
